Island native Hu Riley leans against a boat on his lakeside property in the North Mercer neighborhood. A large group of North Mercer residents have supported naming the body of water between Luther Burbank Park and the Roanoke Inn ‘Riley Cove’ in honor of the Island citizen, who is also a WWII veteran.
