James D. Resch and Nicole M. Fiset of Seattle were married at an afternoon ceremony on Oct. 30, 2011, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Mercer Island.

Nicole is the daughter of Julia Fiset, of Mercer Island, and Dr. Louis O. Fiset, of Seattle. James is the son of Pat Pollard, of Idaho. Following a November honeymoon adventure in Patagonia, the couple is currently designing their new home to be custom-built in West Seattle.
