Kathryn Grace Lemon and Nathan David Van Dick were married on Nov. 5, 2011, at Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church in Gig Harbor, Washington.

Kathryn Grace Lemon and Nathan David Van Dick were married on Nov. 5, 2011, at Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church in Gig Harbor, Washington.

The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Marlene Lemon, of Mercer Island, Wash., and the groom is the son of Robert and Barbara Van Dick of Beaverton, Oregon.

The Reverend Jeremy Vaccaro officiated the ceremony. The maid of honor was Courtney Danielson and the bridesmaids were Aimee’ Schanz, Colleen Marks and Emily Jacobsen. The candle lighters were Lane Harmon and Becky Jess. The best man was Dustin Harrison and the groomsmen were Jeremy Van Dick, Kurt Schanz and David Hennes. The ushers were David Lemon, Tom Lemon and Jeff Lemon. The Scriptures were read by the bride’s grandmother, Ann Lemon. The bride wore a veil made by her grandmother, Juliana Wellman.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Mercer Island High School and a 2008 Seattle Pacific University cum laude graduate with a degree in educational ministries, with a minor in youth ministry and Scripture. The groom is a graduate of Briercrest College with a degree in youth ministry.

The couple met during an internship program at Gig Harbor Presbyterian.

The newlyweds now make their home in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, Wash., where the groom recently accepted a position as middle school director at Friday Harbor Presbyterian Church.
