The Mercer Island Historical Society is partnering with Island Books to present an evening with David Williams in conversation with Knute Berger from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on May 14 at Island Books (3014 78th Ave. SE).
Williams’ latest book, “Wild in Seattle,” is a delightful journey of discovery in a city where not only is nature all around, it’s also written in the stones of the urban landscape, according to a press release.
The historian, naturalist and tour guide will be joined by Berger, aka Mossback, who is editor-at-large for Cascade PBS and is writer and host of the Emmy-winning “Mossback’s Northwest” video series.
