Annette Levin | Obituary

Annette Levin was born August 12, 1935 and passed away peacefully at home on March 13, 2023. She was the first born to Esther and Ed Moscatel (now deceased) of Seattle, Washington. Annette is survived by her children Joe Levin, Andrea Benezra, and Ed Levin (Heidi Schafer); grandchildren Sarah Levin, Aaron Levin, Michael Benezra (Ceferina Murrell), and Ellen Benezra; nephews Eric Moscatel, Anthony Moscatel, Cole Moscatel (Kelsea), Charles Kapner (Betsy), Gus Levin, and niece Shira Levin. Preceding her in death was her husband Ellis Levin, and her brother Harry Moscatel.

She grew up in Seattle and graduated from Garfield High School. She worked at S.L. Savidge auto dealership in Seattle as a title clerk. It was through a co-worker that she was introduced to her husband, Ellis of 47 years. They moved to Mercer Island in 1960 where they raised their three children. After her husband retired from Boeing, they traveled abroad, and enjoyed time on cruises, sight-seeing, and spending time with their family and friends.

Annette was a loving and giving person. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend to many. She was generous and thoughtful remembering others on birthdays, weddings, and other special occasions. There was always a card, a gift, or a phone call. She enjoyed getting together with her friends for coffee, lunch, and her weekly card games.

We will remember her kindness, and generosity. She will live forever in our hearts.
