Barbara Jean Showalter died January 27, 2020, on Mercer Island. Barbara was born July 4, 1927 in Olathe, Colorado. With a nursing degree from University of Colorado, she and her husband Dale lived in Albuquerque (NM), Livermore (CA), and Idaho Falls (ID) prior to moving to Mercer Island in 1962.

She is survived by her sons Michael, Steve, and Jack, their wives and 7 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on March 7. Contact the family for details.
