In mid-May, former Seattle Flute Society president Isabel Gallagher died in an auto accident in Ontario, Canada. Isabel, a Mercer Island resident of 30 years, is remembered as a dedicated musician, an esteemed teacher, a loving parent, grandparent and friend. A gathering in Isabel’s memory will be at North Bellevue Community Center, 4063 148th Ave. N.E., Bellevue, on Sunday, July 17, at 2:30 p.m. Remembrance donations may be directed to the Scholarship Fund of the Seattle Flute Society.
