Former Mercer Island resident Janice Ann Greear Stensman, born on June 19, 1940, and resident of Carson City, Nev., died on Dec. 3, 2009, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of Ernest and Dorothy Mansker.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Jeff Stensman; daughter, Janice Greear Bowman; brother, Jerry Mansker; niece, Janelle King, family members, David Greear and family, and many grandchildren. No memorial service will be held.
