Rita Lorraine Fremouw

Rita Lorraine Fremouw of Mercer Island passed away on October 17th, 2010. She was born on December 24th, 1937 in Libby, Montana to Leif and Lalla Johnson. Rita graduated from Queen Anne High School in Seattle and received a degree in dental hygiene from the University of Washington. She worked as a hygienist before starting a family. She had a life-long appreciation for the arts and volunteered as a docent at the Bellevue Art Museum for many years. She is survived by two sons, Thane Fremouw of Orono, Maine and Sean Fremouw of Eugene, Oregon and four grandchildren. A celebration of Rita’s life will be held on Friday, October 29th at 2pm at East Shore Unitarian Church, 12700 SE 32nd St, Bellevue, WA. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
