What does the 12th man get from the Super Bowl win?

The fans bought tickets, jerseys and other paraphernalia, shouted themselves hoarse, kept the faith and have been nationally recognized as being a factor in the Seahawks success. They have made a huge investment and what, tangibly has it brought us except bragging rights?

What should it bring? What does our community need?

In January, the annual survey of homelessness on our streets was conducted. 3,117 people in King County had no shelter; a 14 percent increase over last year. You might say we are near the bottom of the league.

Maybe those who profited financially by the Super Bowl win should contribute 12 percent of their profit to making our community better. Then the relationship would be a real team.
