Is now a good time to buy and sell on Mercer Island?

Mercer Island's convenient location, and excellent public schools and close-knit community have made homes a good investment.

A move-in ready home in a desirable location that’s priced correctly should sell relatively quickly in today’s market

Is now a good time to buy and sell on Mercer Island?

The answer is “Yes”!

For sellers, homes average eight to 33 days on market and are selling close to asking price.

In any market, if a home is presented well,  is in move-in condition, without needing repairs, and is priced correctly it should sell.

A desirable location, views and waterfront, school and park access can shorten the time on market as well!

For buyers, the market is currently not in the “frenzy” state, with more inventory allowing the opportunity to inspect the home and providing more time to make the right purchase.

Many times, homeowners have had self-procured inspections which shorten the purchase and sale process for seller and saves the buyer money at the same time.

With Mercer Island’s convenient location between Bellevue and Seattle and excellent public schools and close-knit community, homes have continued to be a good investment for buyers and sellers alike.
