The Mercer Island girls basketball team defeated Bellevue for the second time this season Thursday night, to advance to the KingCo tournament championship game.

Islanders Kate DaPron and Hailey Gullstad each had 10 points to lead Mercer Island to the 46-44 victory at Bellevue Community College.

The Islanders will play Liberty for the tournament title at 8:15 p.m. Friday at Bellevue Community College.
