The Mercer Island baseball team lost their final game of the regular season on Thursday, May 2 to Bellevue. The final score was 4-1 for the Wolverines.

Bellevue was up 2-0 at the end of the first inning, and neither team scored until Bellevue added two in bottom of the sixth. Mercer Island got on the board with one run in the top of the seventh.

Bellevue had four runs off 10 hits and one error, while Mercer Island had one run off three hits and one error.

The Islanders will begin the KingCo tournament on Tuesday, May 7 at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue.
