Mercer Island girls swim and dive team bounces back against Sammamish

The Mercer Island girls swim and dive team (4-1) got back in the win column with a 115-71 victory over Sammamish (2-4) at Mary Wayte Pool on Oct. 3. The Islanders suffered their first league loss of the season on the previous day to Newport (5-0) by a score of 100-84 on Oct. 2. Next on the schedule for the Islanders is a meet against Bellevue (3-1), the defending 3A state champions, on Oct. 10 at Mary Wayte Pool.
