After battling the whole regular season for a clear view of the standings in the KingCo 3A, things finally cleared up after the final game of the regular season. Mercer Island beat Bellevue 57-48 Friday, Feb. 3.

With the win, the Islanders remained tied with the Wolverines, forcing a tie breaker game on Saturday, Feb. 4 at Bellevue College at 7:30 p.m.

The winner will get the No. 2 seed into the KingCo tournament, which begins Monday, while the loser will be No. 3, facing Mount Si on Monday.

Against Bellevue on Friday, the Islanders were up 15-4 at the end of the first quarter, followed by an 11-7 run by Bellevue in the second quarter.
