The city of Mercer Island will host two egg hunts, one for ages 1-6 and one for ages 7-12, April 15 at Mercerdale Park.

For the “Lil’ Ones Egg Hunt” – for ages 1–3 years at 4 p.m., and ages 4–6 years at 5 p.m – the city’s resident bunny and frog will be hard at work putting together eggs, candy and prizes for everyone, and they plan to make a special visit to the egg hunts to say “hello.” Bring a basket and a sweet tooth and get ready to hunt for goodies, and find a golden egg for an “eggstra” special surprise.

The “Flashlight Egg Hunt” starts at 8:30 p.m. sharp. Bring a flashlight and a basket to haul off loot, including candy, prizes and another special golden egg.

No registration is required, but the city asks for a $5 donation per family. The event is sponsored by Windermere Real Estate, Smith Brothers Farms and Mercer Island FC.
