School district Fine Arts Showcase on tap for March 22-23

The Mercer Island Fine Arts Advisory Council will hold the 40th annual Mercer Island School District Fine Arts Showcase on March 22-23 in the high school gymnasium.

Visual Arts Night will take place at 5 p.m. March 22 and feature K-12 art, including photography, pottery, jewelry, AP and graduating seniors art room, a glow-in-the-dark art room and more.

Three shows will take place on March 23: 5 p.m., seventh-grade band, elementary choir, sixth-grade orchestra and high-school wind ensemble; 6:30 p.m., eighth-grade band, high-school choir, high-school drama and high-school orchestra; and 8 p.m., middle-school orchestra, high-school percussion, middle-school choir and high-school combined bands.
