Thanks for the kindness / Letter to the editor

Rave to the young couple on Mercer Island who stopped to help us at the Mercer Island light rail station. We were dropped off by a kindly AAA tow truck driver who was taking our ailing car off for repair. My wife was walking slowly, using a walker after a recent hip replacement. These lovely people chased after us to ask if we needed help or a ride anywhere. We had friends waiting for us on the Seattle side, so we declined. But how wonderfully kind!!
