At the end of each school year, the Mercer Island PTA Council recognizes outstanding programs and individuals who contribute above and beyond to the district’s school communities. On June 2, the following individuals were recognized:

2017 PTA Council Award Recipients:

• Golden Acorn Award – Amy Sagerson

• Outstanding Service Award- Kathy Middleton

• Outstanding Educator Award – Ryan Lane

• Outstanding Advocate Award- Alison Stovall

• Children’s Advocate Award – Gary Plano and Dean Mack

• Community Partner Award- Mercer Island Youth and Family Services CTC/HYI Program

Outgoing PTA Council Co-President Debbie Hanson was also honored for her service.
