Mercer Island youth gymnasts earn top finishes at state invitational

Morgan Davis and Carly Lightfoot recently earned top honors in the state gymnastics competition as part of the Gymnastics East team.
Morgan Davis and Carly Lightfoot recently earned top honors in the state gymnastics competition as part of the Gymnastics East team.

Last month two local gymnasts earned top finishes at the State Invitational gymnastics meet for level 3 club gymnasts.

Morgan Davis won first place in her division, and Carly Lightfoot was third.

They each participate with the Gymnastics East level 3 team.

The state meet was held at Sammamish High School.

Gymnastics East has gyms in Bellevue, Issaquah and Preston.
