Cars headed toward the I-90 west onramp line up along Island Crest Way on Friday, July 17, the last day of construction on the Homer Hadley Bridge. The line of waiting cars, which snaked about 800 meters up Island Crest Way, well past SE 32nd Street, occured every week day during the morning rush hour last week.
