Mayor proclaims April 22 as Earth Day for MI

At Tuesday’s city council meeting, Mayor Salim Nice proclaimed April 22 as Earth Day for Mercer Island.

To celebrate the 52nd anniversary of Earth Day, the city has mapped out a plethora of ways for residents to reduce energy use, save resources and protect the planet.
