Mercer Island’s Northwest Yeshiva High School (NYHS) has been awarded an automated external defibrillator (AED) grant by the Medic One Foundation. This generous grant will provide critical lifesaving equipment to support the health and safety of students, faculty and visitors on campus.
“We thank Medic One Foundation for their continued contribution to improving life safety in the Puget Sound,” said Joe Krissoff, director of operations at NYHS. “We further want to thank Medic One Foundation for helping us improve life safety on our campus through this very generous grant. This grant will support key lifesaving equipment for our campus.”
AEDs are vital tools in responding to sudden cardiac arrest and can dramatically increase survival rates when deployed quickly and effectively. With this new AED, the school takes another important step in reinforcing its commitment to student and community safety.
