Aug. 18

Fraud: A resident in the 3700 block of 77th Avenue Southeast reported receiving a text from her bank regarding potentially fraudulent activity. The resident froze her account and notified the bank that there was a fraudulent charge on her account for $88.77.

Traffic offense: An accident occurred between an E-bike and a vehicle at an intersection near the 2600 block of Southeast 27th Street. There were minor injuries and the bicycle was damaged.

Aug. 19

Traffic offense: Police arrested a driver for operating a vehicle with a suspended license in the 8400 block of Southeast 26th Street.

Aug. 20

Vehicle prowl: Someone prowled a vehicle overnight in the 7900 block of Southeast 34th Street and stole miscellaneous clothing, shoes and personal hygiene items. A purple lanyard not belonging to the victim was left at the scene.

Burglary: Someone stole a work laptop and tool bags from a residence in the 100 block of Brook Bay Road.

Aug. 21

Attempted traffic stop: Police attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle with a malfunctioning headlight during the night in the 7000 block of Southeast 27th Street. The driver fled at a high rate of speed and police terminated the pursuit.

Aug. 22

Dog bite: A juvenile male sustained a dog bite in the 8000 block of Southeast 58th Street and was treated at Seattle Children’s Hospital. The case was referred to King County.
