Mercer Island School District in partnership with the Mercer Island Preschool Association (MIPA) will be hosting a Kindergarten Information Night from 6-7:30 p.m. on Oct. 22 in the library at Island Park Elementary for Mercer Island preschool families. Superintendent Fred Rundle, Assistant Superintendent-Teaching and Learning Nova Williams, Island Park Principal Joby McGowan and an Island Park kindergarten teacher will provide families information on the daily and weekly kindergarten schedules, kindergarten curriculum, kindergarten instruction schedules and the district enrollment process. This group will also be answering questions Mercer Island families have about kindergarten in the Mercer Island School District.
