On May 2 — World Labyrinth Day — people are invited to walk the labyrinth at Emmanuel Episcopal Church on Mercer Island starting at 1 p.m. Rev. Patrick Raymond said the Chartres-design labyrinth has been a feature of the church grounds for about 30 years. The church will also be re-introducing the labyrinth to its members and guests with presentations after its 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. worship services on April 26. People may walk the Emmanuel labyrinth anytime, Raymond said, adding that an adjacent sign provides a simple explanation and instruction. The church is located at 4400 86th Ave. SE. Courtesy photo
