Mercer Island “A Team” wins at Hoopfest | Sports brief

At the annual basketball extravaganza, Spokane’s Hoopfest, the Mercer Island “A Team” won it’s division.

The team of four MIHS juniors won the high school coed division after going 5-0 to win their bracket.

The team includes McKenzie Krause, Daniel Sims, Jacob Stenberg and Alida Scalzo.
