Despite the stormy weather earlier in the day, the city of Mercer Island had a solid turnout for its first Mostly Music in the Park concert of the summer with Harmony of Rock on July 16 at Mercerdale Park. Dancers got moving to the sounds of the band’s early 1970s rock offerings. The group 90’s Rewind is next up from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on July 23 at Mercerdale Park. Other concert dates in the city series are (same time, same place): July 30 — Abbagraphs (ABBA tribute) and Pride in the Park Night; Aug. 6 — Prom Date Mixtape (’80s new wave); Aug. 13 — Mr. Pink (’90s and 2000s tunes); and Aug. 20 — Diamond Star Halo (’70s glam rock).
