Clubs

The ProBus Club of Mercer Island will meet at 10:30 a.m. today at the Presbyterian Church, 3605 84th Ave. S.E. The speaker will be Sesh Velamoor, director of programs for the Foundation for the Future, a think tank dedicated to the study of the future of humanity. The program will be Part II of “Where does humanity go from here?” The public is welcome.

Chamber Art Gallery photography show will run from Friday, July 15, through September. The East Seattle School Class of 1946 is celebrating its 60th reunion this summer, despite that it has been only 59 years since the members finished eighth grade on the Island. The group decided to have the event one year early as the Old East Seattle School may be demolished.
