Mercer Island Boys & Girls Club 5th/6th grade basketball team, the Bluejays, won its league championship, beating the Golden Eagles 31-28 in the league final March 10. The team includes Will Rogers, Alex Patel, Jaden Krauser, Karun Mokha, Kiran Jacob, Noah Hendelman, Cameron Longwith and Sam Merritt. The Bluejays are coached by Kevin Bernstein and Reid Fuhr
