The Mercer Island boys tennis team beat Lake Washington on Tuesday afternoon 6-1.

The Islanders swept the doubles matches, and lost just one singles match during the afternoon.

In the doubles competition, Ben Elliott and Charlie Williams beat Fergy Lu and Koshi Fujii 6-1, 6-2. Kyle Baska and Matt Siefert beat Connor Stumpf and Tristan Jimenez 6-3, 6-1, while Max Tilden and Spencer Dillon beat Colby Harris and Brooks Klinker 6-1, 6-0.

In singles, Brian Hou beat Arah Hafizi 6-2, 6-4, Henry Smith beat Connor Ross 6-1, 6-2. Zack Elliott beat Nick Orlov 6-0, 6-0 and Lake Washington’s Jeremy Sacks beat Josh Hartmann 7-6 (7-5) 6-4.
