Mercer Island Little League 9-10 All Star team wins district title

The Mercer Island Little League 9-10 team won the District 9 championship on Monday night. The team will move forward to the state tournament in Redmond, which begins this weekend at Hartman Park. The Islanders beat Sammamish in the title game with a final score of 11-5.

The team consists of: Graham Cartwright, Teague Condor, Liam Dammeier, Evan Doty, Robert Dreyer, Greg Fuchs, Andrew Jenkins, Cole Miller, Matthew Nguyen, Carson Sandwith, Quinn Zakahi. The team is managed by Keenan Conder and coached by David Sandwith and Robin Fuchs.

The team’s first game at state will be on Saturday, July 16 at 9 a.m.
