Myatich will discuss multi-tiered systems of support at Sept. 5 Rotary meeting

Lindsay Myatich will discuss multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) in institutional education settings at the Rotary Club of Mercer Island’s meeting on Sept. 5 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center, 8236 SE 24th St. The main meeting begins at 12:30 pm. Guests are always welcome.

Dr. Myatich is a seasoned special education administrator and educator. In her most recent role as the dean of students at Echo Glen Children’s Center in Snoqualmie, Dr. Myatich has worked in partnership with principal Allison Ilgenfritz and organizational leadership expert Dr. Lisa Hoyt to implement MTSS within institutional education. Prior to this role, Dr. Myatich has also led district-wide initiatives to improve outcomes for students with disabilities in her role as a central office administrator in the Mercer Island and Issaquah school districts.

On the evening of Aug. 12, Mercer Island Rotarians prepared and then shared, once again, more than 100 dinners for those homeless in Seattle who showed up at Operation Nightwatch located on the north end of Rainier Avenue.
