Theft: A 57-year-old woman at the 8400 block of S.E. 44th Street reported that her license plate was stolen and replaced with another license plate.
Prowling: A 36-year-old woman said that her vehicle was prowled in the garage of the Island Square apartments. A radio, bicycle tools, car wash products, a change holder, a map light, a Leatherman tool and locking cable hitch and bike rack were stolen.
Lost property: A 45-year-old woman at the 6100 block of 90th Avenue S.E. reported that the German passport for her 10-year-old son was lost.
Prowling: A driver’s license and debit card belonging to a 71-year-old woman at the 8000 block of East Mercer Way were stolen after her unlocked vehicle was prowled.
DUI: A 33-year-old Issaquah man was arrested on eastbound I-90 after being stopped for speeding and performing poorly on field sobriety tests.
May 9
Found property: A 34-year-old Island man found bolt cutters at the Park and Ride on North Mercer Way.
Burglary: A 58-year-old Bellevue man went to check on his mother’s residence at the 2400 block of 71st Avenue S.E. and found it had been broken into via forced entry through the basement rear door, and that an unknown amount of jewelry had been taken.
DUI: A 39-year-old Island woman was stopped at the 5300 block of Island Crest Way for numerous travel lane violations. She failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI. She was processed and released to a friend.
May 11
Informational report: A 57-year-old Seattle woman turned in an old rifle for destruction.
Fraud: Tax returns were fraudulently filed in the names of a 50-year-old man and 51-year-old woman who live at the 2000 block of 72nd Avenue S.E.
May 12
Theft: A 44-year-old Island woman at the 3000 block of 80th Avenue S.E. reported that someone used her credit card to make online purchases in excess of $1,500.
Fraud: Tax returns were fraudulently filed in the names of a couple who live at the 9100 bock of S.E. 50th Street.
May 14
Fraud: A 41-year-old woman at the 7800 block of S.E. 27th Street reported that her account had a $299.98 fraudulent charge made to onlineshoes.com.
