Register with Reverse 911 to receive emergency messages

“Reverse 911” is used to deliver emergency notifications over the telephone. It provides local governments with the ability to quickly deliver emergency notifications throughout the community for situations such as contaminated water, flooding, evacuations, major road closures, severe weather conditions, immediate crime notifications and other critical incidents.

Most residents are already registered if they have a landline phone. However, those who primarily use a cell phone or Voice Over Internet Phone (VOIP) will need to register their cell and/or VOIP to receive emergency information in a disaster.

To register, go to http://norcom.org/reverse911.cfm, or register by phone by calling (425) 577-5700 and leave a message providing your phone number, name, address including zip code and e-mail, and whether the phone is a cell phone or VOIP.
