Technology training and projects were part of the work done by teachers and staff over the summer. Over 200 teachers attended a district technology workshop last week to learn the latest and greatest in technology tools.
Teachers chose from over 20 different sessions, including middle school math technology training, K-5 communication tools, schoology (social networking for students), iMovie, Movie Maker, podcasting and digital pen pals, to name a few.
Over the summer break several technology projects were completed in the district, including the completion of the installation of new fiber optic cable linking all schools.
