July 31

Theft: A resident in the 7600 block of Southeast 27th Street believes someone was swiping deliveries from the mail room.

July 30

DUI: An officer arrested a suspect on suspicion of driving under the influence after failing a breath test in the 2900 block of 72nd Avenue Southeast.

July 28

Theft: A theft from a mailbox occurred in the 3800 block of 76th Avenue Southeast.

Vehicle theft: A resident in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street reported that someone stole their vehicle parked in their driveway overnight.

Fraud: A victim in the 3200 block of Shorewood Drive transferred more than $75,000 to a phone scammer claiming to be with Microsoft. The scammer said the victim’s account had been hacked and his money needed to be sent to another “safe” account as soon as possible.
