Mercer Islander Matt Boyd earns baseball honors | Sports brief

Mercer Island native and pitcher for Oregon State University Matt Boyd has earned several late season honors.

The senior left-handed pitcher was named an All-American on Thursday, May 30.

The same week, Boyd was named to the Pac-12 All-Conference first team, along with the entire OSU starting line.
