Who is hiding behind parks petition TV ads? | Letter

I was taught early on that when it comes to politics, you need to follow the money. This is surely the case with a political action committee (PAC) based out of Kent now dumping thousands of dollars in TV ads spreading misinformation in support of the parks petition. This is a troubling turn of events and unprecedented for Mercer Island.

Who is hiding behind this PAC and why are they trying to stop the Mercer Island Center for the Arts (MICA) and drive Youth Theatre Northwest (YTN) off the Island? Islanders should demand transparency from the parks petitioners to come clean.
