City kicks off football season with Blue Friday community coffee

Mercer Island residents can join neighbors and city staff for the next community coffee event from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Sept. 8 in celebration of Seahawks Blue Friday at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center.

Fans can sport their favorite Seahawks gear to kick off the season while enjoying coffee, tea and snacks along with playing NFL Bingo from 11 a.m. to noon for a chance to win great prizes.
