March 25

Burglary: At an apartment complex the 2800 block of 75th Place Southeast, a resident reported that someone broke into her locked storage unit and stole approximately $4,500 in various vintage sporting items and clothing items. There is no suspect information or camera footage available.

March 26

Theft: A suspect stole $101 worth of Hydro Flasks from the Metropolitan Market in the 2700 block of 77th Avenue Southeast. She fled the scene upon police officers’ arrival and the reporting party provided a description of the driver.

March 28

Theft: Police cited a subject for third-degree theft after stealing personal hygiene products from a business in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street. The subject was also trespassed from the business.

Property damage: A resident in the 2200 block of 77th Avenue Southeast reported that someone punctured all four tires of her vehicle. There is no camera footage or suspect information.

March 29

Warrant arrest: A subject was re-booked into the South Correctional Entity (SCORE) jail in Des Moines on a Mercer Island Municipal Court warrant for possession of stolen property.

Drug violation: At the Mercer Island light rail station in the 2500 block of 77th Avenue Southeast, a subject was administered Narcan and then refused any further medical treatment. He was kicked off the train and directed to the bus stop.

March 30

Disturbance: Police arrested a subject in the 2700 block of 78th Avenue Southeast for not paying $20 after receiving service at a nail salon and booked the individual into the Issaquah Jail. A light rail rider called police about the same subject, stating that the individual was “being verbal” on the train.
