Ressmeyer takes eighth all around at state

Mercer Island High School’s Rachel Ressmeyer placed eighth in the all-around competition at the 2A/3A state championships on Feb. 25-26 at Sammamish High School. The Islander finished with a total score of 36.425. She took sixth on bars (9.300), seventh on beam (9.350), tied for 17th on floor (9.275) and tied for 28th on vault (8.500). Courtesy photos
