May 3

Theft: A suspect stole two A-frame signs — valued at $310 — from outside a business in the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast. Surveillance footage shows the unidentified suspect walk out of the camera frame with the signs.

Theft: A suspect swiped a robe/outfit from a business in the 7600 block of Southeast 27th Street during regular business hours. The reporting party provided video footage of the unidentified suspect.

May 4

Theft: A suspect stole two signs — valued at $500 — from outside a store in the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast. There is no camera footage or suspect information.

May 5

Theft: A community member reported that someone stole seven Mercer Island High School baseball A-frame signs over two separate dates at multiple locations throughout the Island (mainly near Island Crest Park). There is no suspect information.

Warrant arrest: After a police officer conducted a traffic stop for expired registration in the 7600 block of North Mercer Way, the driver was arrested for having Redmond Police Department warrants for conduct and criminal trespass. The driver was booked into the South Correctional Entity (SCORE) jail in Des Moines.

May 9

Theft: An unknown suspect stole candy and drinks from Walgreens in the 7700 block of Southeast 27th Street.

May 10

Theft and arrest: A subject who swiped BuzzBallz and trail mix from the Chevron station in the 7600 block of Sunset Way was arrested at the nearby light rail station and booked into the Issaquah City Jail.
