Nov. 12

Theft: Police advised a victim whose cell phone was stolen in Bellevue and showed a Mercer Island GPS location to file a police report in Bellevue. “The public is discouraged from confronting suspects on their own, as this can be dangerous,” police noted.

Nov. 11

Theft: A resident in the 7600 block of Southeast 27th Street believes she left her phone in the back seat of a ride-share vehicle and attempted to contact the driver to return her phone. The driver didn’t return her calls.

Nov. 9

Theft: A porch package theft was reported in the 7800 block of Southeast 72nd Street.

Fraud: An artist in the 4400 block of East Mercer Way reported being conned out of a commission payment for artwork she completed through a check and transfer refund scam.

Nov. 8

Vehicle prowl: A vehicle prowl occurred overnight in the 2700 block of 78th Avenue Southeast.

Nov. 7

Theft: A subject stole a wallet from a business in the 2700 block of 77th Avenue Southeast and then attempted to use credit cards at another business.
