Stolen mail located: A resident found a large volume of stolen mail near East Mercer Way and Interstate 90. They attempted to contact the owners.

Assistance: Officers investigated a possible assault in the 2900 block of 76th Avenue Southeast.

Vehicle prowl: A resident interrupted a vehicle prowl in the 7900 block of Southeast 30th Street.

Marine incident: Marine Patrol assisted a neighboring agency in recovering a subject from Lake Washington.

Attempted burglary: A resident in the 3200 block of 74th Avenue Southeast reported an attempted burglary evident from pry marks on the doors of the home.

Fraud: An organization in the 3600 block of 84th Avenue Southeast was scammed into transferring a large sum of funds into the wrong account.

Jan. 6

Aggro drivers: Police received reports of an increased amount of aggressive drivers on Island Crest Way.

Vehicle prowl: It was reported that numerous vehicles were prowled around several blocks, including the 2200 block of 74th Avenue Southeast.

Burglary: Burglary suspects were captured on video in the victim’s garage in the 3800 block of West Mercer Way.

Jan. 4

Hit-and-run: A resident in the 4200 block of 87th Avenue Southeast witnessed a hit-and-run traffic collision.

Disgruntled rock thrower: A resident in the 7200 block of Southeast 27th Street suspected that a previous disgruntled tenant threw a large rock into his window.
