Seven Mercer Island residents graduated from Eastside Catholic High School in the class of 2012. Graduation was Sunday, June 10, in the Eastside Catholic Athletic Pavilion. Mercer Island resident Annie Mazure-Schmidt sang a duet of “For Good” at graduation.

The graduating class included a total of 156 graduates (81 men and 75 women) — Eastside Catholic’s 30th graduating class. Ninety-nine percent are enrolling immediately in four-year colleges or universities. The total value of scholarships awarded was $10,562,910. Collectively, Eastside Catholic graduates are attending 63 different colleges in 17 states. Baccalaureate was Friday, June 8, at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sammamish.
