“How to Train Your Dragon” outdoor movie this Saturday evening

The Mercer Island Parks and Recreation Department will be showing the last outdoor film of the summer this Saturday, Aug. 25. The film will be "How to Train Your Dragon".

The Mercer Island Parks and Recreation Department will be showing the last outdoor film of the summer this Saturday, Aug. 25. The film will be “How to Train Your Dragon“.

The film, which came out in 2010, is set to begin at 8 p.m., but City Staff will be on hand beginning at 7 p.m. for special activities inspired by the film. Concessions will be sold during the movie which runs for 98 minutes.

The film is an animated movie, set during the time of Vikings and dragons and follows a Viking teen who makes an unlikely friend.
