Island author Andrew Schorr, who wrote “The Web-Savvy Patient: An Insider’s Guide to Navigating the Internet When Facing Medical Crisis” will appear on The View on Monday, May 2.

Schorr’s book helps patients unlock the best health information online and discuss it productively with their doctor.

During his appearance on the ABC show, he will talk about his book and his own experiences as a cancer survivor.

Beth Mayes, whom Schorr talks about in the book, will also be on the show.

The View airs at 10 a.m. on ABC.
