Due to the holidays, many local businesses and offices will be closed at various times over the next week.

Mercer Island City offices will be closed on Dec. 26 due to Christmas, and will also be closed on Monday, Jan. 2 for the New Year’s holiday. City offices will also be closed on Jan. 16 for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

There will be a regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 7 p.m.

Albertson’s will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve, and will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas. The store will remain open from 6 a.m. to midnight on New Years Eve and on New Years.

The north end QFC store will be open regular business hours on Saturday, Dec. 24 and will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 25.

The south end QFC will close at 6 p.m. on Dec. 24 and will be closed all day on Christmas and reopens on Monday, Dec. 26 at 5 a.m.
