The Mercer Island School District Board of Directors will hold their annual retreat on June 24-25 at the Mercer Island High School library. The meeting is set to begin at 8 a.m. and conclude by 4 p.m.

On Monday, June 24 the board plans to discuss the facilities master plan, including getting an update on the elementary and big school educational specifications plans, as well as an update on the mega block master plan. The team working on the middle school educational specification plan will also provide the board an update.

On Tuesday, June 25, the retreat will begin at 8 a.m. and the agenda includes a discussion of the 2020 Vision. The meeting will close for an executive session at noon and is expected to reopen at 1:30 p.m. for adjournment.
